Adam Sandler Hired Woman To Play Waitress In Movie Before Becoming His Wife In Real Life

Adam Sandler has become a true legend in the world of comedy as till now he has achieved 80 acting credits to his name.

Adam Sandler's career has lasted many years, and he has made millions of people laugh with his roles in movies and TV shows.

Known for his funny style and unforgettable characters, Sandler is one of the most loved comedians in the entertainment world.

It is not surprising that the actor who used to be on Saturday Night Live has acted in almost 100 different movies and shows.

But you may not know which movie he was working on when he met and fell in love with the woman who is now his wife.

Sandler and his wife Jackie got married over 20 years ago.

They met on the set of the 1999 movie "Big Daddy," according to People.

At the time, Jackie was a budding actor and model.

Thanks to a recommendation from Sandler's friend and fellow actor, Rob Schneider, she landed a small role in the movie.

This chance meeting on the set of "Big Daddy" marked the beginning of their relationship. 

You might not remember her because Jackie only appeared briefly in the movie.

She played a waitress who took Sandler's character's drink order in a sports bar scene.

When Adam Sandler celebrated their anniversary in August 2020, he talked about the first time they met.

He wrote on social media: "22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep. Look forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you my forever girl."

Adam and his wife Jackie have two teenage daughters, Sunny and Sadie. 

They got married in 2003 in Malibu in a Jewish ceremony.

Adam shared that on their wedding day, he played basketball to calm his nerves.

He said, "I played basketball that afternoon, trying to calm down, and then I was driving.

"I was saying stuff out loud and trying to, you know, make sure I hit all of the right things so she would remember nice stuff, and I did all right."

After the ceremony, Jackie called her grandmother and mother, who said they could hear the applause over the phone.

After Jackie gave birth to their first daughter in 2006, Adam Sandler shared a sweet moment with Access Hollywood.

He said: "When my kid was born, I was so nervous, I didn’t know what I felt.

“Five minutes later, maybe 10 minutes later, it was me and the kid and a nurse.

"We walked down alone to just check the vital signs and all that stuff, and I had a chemical reaction in my body, where I loved the kid so much, and I was so nervous for her, and that’s when I lost my mind for the kid."
