Dentists? That's so last year! Try real life Shrimps out! Check out these amazing guys!

A 13 year old named Russell Laman, has rocked the world of dentistry! He discovered a way to get a free teeth clean with live shrimp underwater. Shrimps are known as the cockroaches of the sea world. They love to be squeaky clean and share the love with anyone and anything that needs a good cleaning. In this case, Russell Laman’s gaping mouth!

Russell said that he wanted to try this first hand after watching a few fish at cleaning stations getting their mouths scrubbed out by these unique creatures. He just queued up behind some fish and at his turn, the shrimps took it from there.

His father, Tim Laman watched with fascination and decided to capture a few pictures of this amazing demonstration. Russell told an interviewer that it tickled a bit and felt like tiny dentists in his mouth, picking away at his teeth.

Russell has been diving with his father for years and while observing a fish cleaning station he decided to try out these natural mouth cleaners.

Mouth cleaning by shrimps is part of the larger ecosystem and many fish depend on these little dentists but a mouth cleaning of a human and to catch it on camera is quite rare.

So would you try this environmental friendly way of cleaning your mouth?
