New mom Donna Brierley saw her normally light, weight balloon to 196 while pregnant with her first baby.
The 28-year-old from Manchester gorged on four meals a day and often indulged in KFC meals and late-night take-out.
But after giving birth to baby Dylan last summer, she was horrified to discover she was carrying an extra 56.

Like, a lot of weight.
She was nearly 200 pounds by the end of her pregnancy.
Once she had her baby (a delightful and healthy boy, thank you), she decided to diet until she was back to her slimmest.
While she was pregnant she got into the habit of eating four large, fatty meals a day.
WHAT SHE ATE BEFORE
10 am Breakfast - Full English breakfast
11:30 am Snack - A bag of chips
1 pm Lunch - A potato chip and butter sandwich
4 pm Snack - Cookies or chocolate
6 pm Evening Meal - Take-out or steak and fries or a pizza and fries
10 pm Snack - Ham and tomato on toast
But she cut down to three healthy meals per day after having her baby.
Four months after instituting her new diet plan, Brierley was back down to 142 pounds.
She would start the day with either fruit salad and yogurt or a light two-egg omelette.
For lunch, she would enjoy a simple ham sandwich.
Dinner was often chicken salad or spaghetti Bolognese.
That's it! No fad diets, just good, healthy food in reasonable portions.
