Even though Hall had a ton of surgeries to remove her gigantic birthmark, she has been haunted by the years of relentless teasing and ridicule not just from her schoolmates but also by total strangers on the streets. How sad!

Her birthmark not only warped her precious little face but it stretched across her skin making her a target for bullying and stares from strangers who just could not understand her plight.

Doctors told her family that there was nothing that could be done about her birthmark until she was at least six years old. However, they were desperate to get it taken care of sooner, so they raised over $300,000 in order to get an American surgeon to take on her case.

At just one year old, baby Hall had undergone a whopping 18 surgeries. There was still extensive work left to be done, and over the next 14 years, she underwent another 18 surgeries. Those surgeries included facelifts, skin grafts, eye surgery, numerous nose reconstructions, and liposuction.

These major surgeries were easy for her to endure compared to the cruel and downright awful comments that total strangers would barrage her with. She said people would always ask questions and people in the streets would blatantly stare at her.

“All the attention would sometimes get me upset, and I would come home and say I didn’t like it,” she added. “But over the years people have realized I am who I am. I get people coming up to me in the street and saying ‘well done’ and that they are pleased for me.”

Birthmarks can appear just about anywhere on the human body. Facial birthmarks can be embarrassing due to ignorance from strangers. Some people, on the other hand, embrace the marks that Mother Nature has blessed them with. This teen fashion model refuses to have surgery on her facial birthmark because she loves what God has blessed her with.

We hope that Hall's story will be an inspiration to others who are facing the same issues.
