It seems you can buy almost anything on Amazon these days, and apparently, that includes your next home – but be sure to read the details carefully before clicking “buy.”

If you’re looking for a more affordable way to own a house, Amazon might just be a place worth checking out.

The online giant has come a long way from just selling books, and now you can even order a whole house, potentially saving a small fortune compared to traditional real estate.

To put Amazon’s capabilities to the test, a group of YouTubers known as Unspeakable decided to see if it was possible to buy everything they needed for a home – including the house itself – entirely through Amazon. But there was one significant feature missing that they hadn’t anticipated.

In the video, which quickly gained a large number of comments and likes, the group, led by Nathan Graham, showed off the enormous delivery they had received from Amazon.

Inside was a compact, prefabricated home that they had to assemble and set up themselves.

They soon discovered that their new tiny home unfolded much like “a puzzle.”

Surprisingly, setting it up took hardly any time, and before they knew it, they were unpacking furniture and making the space feel like a home.

However, they hit an unexpected and rather essential snag in their plans as they set up the house.

While trying to install the refrigerator in the kitchen, Nathan, looking around in confusion, said: "I'm trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge but there's no electrical outlets."

Someone off-camera chimed in, asking: "Did you not order the electrical package?"

The answer, it turned out, was no.

But it was missing one vital thing unspeakable/YouTube

Nathan looked straight into the camera, bewildered, and asked: "How are we supposed to plug stuff in? How are we supposed to cook food?"

The group began scrolling through the details of the Amazon listing for their home, which appeared to be the Cherry Industrial prefabricated tiny home model.

The whole package cost around $38,999 for a 19-foot by 20-foot home, delivered straight to their location.

However, there were different options available when they bought the house, one of which included an optional electrical package that would have come with pre-installed outlets.

Without it, they were left to figure out how to set up the electrical components on their own.

In the video, one of the team members read through the product description and noticed it stated that buyers “need to install circuits” because it “doesn’t come with electrical.”

He then called out to the rest of the team, saying: "It comes with a toilet, but it doesn't come with a plug."

Thankfully, they had planned ahead just enough.

One of the YouTubers said: "It's all good. We bought a generator from Amazon."

The generator they purchased allowed them to power the refrigerator, an 80-inch TV, and various lamps around their new home.

They also managed to furnish their compact space with essentials like a bunk bed, a small kitchen setup, a dining table, and a cozy sofa.

And to top it all off, they ordered groceries from Amazon, including milk, eggs, stacks of baked beans, and steaks to grill.

Unfortunately, they missed some basics – a can opener for their beans and charcoal for the grill.

They were amazed by how they could truly buy almost everything needed to live entirely from Amazon, even going as far as purchasing a blow-up slide, a lawn mower, and a go-kart.

So, can you live entirely off Amazon products? The answer seems to be yes – just make sure you remember to add the electrical package.
