The "social media influencer" sent a video of himself in a dressing gown explaining his comeback while smoking a cigar, which Twitter users described as "pure cringe."
Andrew Tate Mocked For ‘Lame A**’ Comeback After Greta Thunberg Exchange
The controversial internet personality Andrew Tate got a mic-drop response from Greta Thunberg after he had mocked her online. It seemed to take him 10 hours to respond in a strange way.
He was recently welcomed back to Twitter after being suspended in 2017 for making offensive remarks that were against the social media network's terms of service.
Since then, he has targeted the 19-year-old Thunberg, writing: "Hello @GretaThunberg I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad-turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start.”
"Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions."
Along with his tweet, the former kickboxer posted a controversial image of himself filling up his Bugatti.
He then delivered an edited montage of Thunberg's criticism of international leaders from her speech at the UN, saying: “This is all wrong, I shouldn’t be up here."
Tate can be heard laughing while driving his supercars and boarding private aircraft in the snippet.
The environmentalist has now responded to Tate with a humorous shutdown.
She penned: "yes, please do enlighten me. email me at [email protected]".
Her reaction naturally caused Twitter to go crazy, with tens of thousands of comments, retweets, and likes.
"This is the kind of reply that will now follow you around forever," one person wrote, while another joked: "Thunberg here lowering the global temperature by absolute icing Tate."
He made an attempt to respond on Wednesday evening by broadcasting a strange two-minute video in which he smoked a cigar and received pizza from an unidentified helper.
"Thank you for confirming via your email address that you have a small penis @GretaThunberg," he wrote above it. "The world was curious. And I do agree you should get a life."
In the video, he refers to Thunberg as a "slave of the matrix" before starting his rant.
"She thinks she's doing good ... someone has convinced her to try and convince you to beg your government to tax you into poverty to stop the sun from being hot.”
"And then, because I called her out of it, the global matrix got this bot farm to like and retweet to try and pretend that her telling me that she has a small dick in her own email address somehow teaches me a lesson."
Jesse Hawken posted: "Nearly a million likes in under six hours, you got KOd by a teenage girl," in reference to Tate's kickboxing career.
The remark was described as "Priceless!" by Yahoo Finance journalist Brian McGleenon, who also included the emoji for a pinching hand and wrote, "@GretaThunberg delivers a critical hit."
