Rev. Al Sharpton

Rev. Al Sharpton who was once a Democratic nominee candidate for the presidency in 2004, is a Minister who gave his first sermon at the age of 4 and an American Civil Rights activist. He also hosts some radio and television talk shows. His own show is called "Keepin' It Real" and he makes appearances on shows like The O'Reilly Factor and CNN. He also hosts a show called MSNBC's Politics Nation. He has lead many protest walks when he feels there has been an injustice. Such as the one shortly after the Trayvon Martin shooting. Some call him a radical blaming him for the worsening of racial relations.

Whole Sharpton may have said that he would leave the country if Trump became president, when asked about it he said that everyone has said that. Continuing on saying; "That was said in jest. We're not going anywhere. Clearly, it was said in jest. If that's the comfort they got, they might as well get ready for an uncomfortable ride."

The Reverend announced Saturday that for the next 2 months leading up to Trump's inauguration that he plans on marching on Washington D.C.'s monument 2 days before the MLK Jr. holiday which is only 6 days before Trump gets sworn in. Warning that Trump should "saddle up your horse".

Chelsea Handler

Her father is Jewish and her mother was German born Mormon who passed away in 2006 after a battle with breast cancer. Handler was raised in Reform Judaism. She is also an author, actress, talk show host and television producer.

At the age of 19, Handler left New Jersey to pursue a career in acting in California. She did the usual waitressing to support herself in the mean while.

It wasn't until she was in a drivers class for DUI offenders, where she was telling the story about her own DUI that she wanted to pursue standup comedy, because others taking the same class thought her story was funny.

Handler filmed documentaries for a Netflix series, and also a comedy talk show. Forbes placed her at #98 of their Celebrity 100 list. The same year, 2010, She was on Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People. Chelsea has also appeared on the cover of several magazines, one being the 2009 December issue of Playboy. where she did a non-nude pictorial.

Handler hasn't been quiet about her support for Hillary Clinton no about her dislike for Donald Trump. Earlier this year handler told a reporter for The Daily Beast that with Trump as president it will be the "end of our civilization." She also said "I did buy a house in another country just in case," when she was on the talk show Live with Kelly.

Although she may have said that she would leave the country if he won, she decided to rescind her decision to leave after a staff member reminded her that she is the voice that people need now more than ever and that to leave would be quitting.

Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi started studying under acting teacher Uta Hagen. She has been in movies such as Sister Act - Jumping Jack Flash and who could forget her role as a medium in Ghost. She's also starred on Broadway. She also took the leading role in Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple in which Goldberg was nominated for Best Actress. She is also a comedian and the leading host of The View.

The day after the election, during the show "The View" she cleared up claims that people were making that Whoopi said she would leave the United States if Trump won. She made it very clear that she did NOT say that she was leaving by telling everyone "I'm staying".

What she DID say however was, as she was reading from a previous show's transcript;

"A lot of folks have said they were leaving over the course of these last couple of years if Trump got elected, and once again people assumed that's what I did," Goldberg said on the morning talk show. The misconception stems from comments she made on a prior episode, during which she stated, "The minute you start pointing and saying that person is a rapist and a murderer, it pisses me off because I've been part of that when they just use a blanket statement to talk about black people or when they use a blanket statement to talk about white people or women or any other group." She added, "I don't think that's America. I don't want it to be America. Maybe it's time for me to move."

Whoopi stood firm and continued on with saying;

"I'm sorry to disillusion you, but I'm not leaving the country that I was born and raised in," said Goldberg. "My family spent years trying to get the vote and trying to do all the things that we as Americans are allowed to do. We're allowed to protest. We're allowed to stand up and say we disagree." She continued, "You don't get to tell me that I'm going. You don't get to make that decision for me. I'm staying."

Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O'Donnell has four other siblings. She is third in line...I guess you would say "the middle child". Daniel O'Donnell, Rosie's older brother is a member of the New York State Assembly. Her father, an immigrant from Ireland was an electrical engineer and her mother whom Rosie lost just days before her 11th birthday to breast cancer was an Irish American.

Rosie attended Commack High School in Long Island where she was born and raised. She was voted Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen, she was also class president and not surprisingly voted class clown. She began her interest in comedy with s skit where she imitated Gilda Radner's Rosanne Roseannadanna. For five years, starting a year before she graduated O'Donnell did standup comedy in clubs. Three years into doing her standup acts, a woman who thought she was really funny asked her for her phone number explaining that her father was Ed McMahon. Rosie gave her the number not believing for one minute that the woman was telling the truth. However, 3 days later Rosie got a call from the booking agent for Star Search where she got her first big break.

Rosie went on to do television shows, playing the neighbor in the T.V. show Gimme a Break. She's been a "veejay" for VH1 hosting their Standup Spotlight. She's starred in movies as well, like The Flintstones where she played Betty Rubble, Beautiful Girls to name a couple. She's done many T.V. and talk shows to include her own talk show The Rosie O'Donnell Show which earned many Emmy Awards and where she became known as "The Queen of Nice". She was offered a roll in Hocus Pocus with Bette Midler but she turned down the role because she didn't want to play an evil witch, and The View where she was one of the co-hosts are just a small sample of O'Donnell's accomplishments.

Rosie has a charity called For All Kids Foundation which helps with a national standard for day care centers across America. She is also a LGBT advocate. It wasn't until 2002 that Rosie "came out" during a stand up act for an Ovarian Cancer Research benefit that a comedy club was hosting.

She is a very passionate person especially on social and political issues. Such as Trumps candidacy. Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump have been in a feud for over 10 years. Constantly taking potshots at each other every chance they get.

When Trump announced that he was going to run for president, O'Donnell said that she was going to take her family and move out of the country never to return. Well it doesn't look like Rosie will be leaving any time soon as she just signed on as a cast member of a new show on Showtime called SMILF.
