‘In this amazing video my son delivers himself after the surgeon helps his head out.'

Natural caesareans are performed by making an incision into the womb and bringing the baby's head outside of the mother's body. The baby is then left to wriggle and push its way out of the womb on its own.

The technique is meant to create a closer bond between mother and child, and feels closer to the experience of an unassisted birth than a traditional c-section.

Which actually sounds pretty cool especially for women who had the hearts set on a natural birth and feel disappointed to have a caesarean.

Plus you get the pride of telling your friends that your baby delivered itself. Take that, other babies.
