Bebe Rexha has made a bold statement, claiming she could "bring down" the music industry in a recent online outburst.

The singer, known for popular tracks like 'In the Name of Love' and 'I'm Good (Blue)', vented her frustrations on social media last Tuesday, July 2.

On X, the 34-year-old expressed her feelings: "I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. I have been UNDERMINED.

"I've been so quiet for the longest time. I haven't seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS.

"And when I have spoken up I've been silence and PUNISHED by this industry. Things must change or I'm telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly."

Following her initial post, Bebe added that her comments were not rooted in anger but stemmed from sadness due to her experiences in the industry since she began her singing career in 2014.

She continued: "I'm sitting in my hotel room in London crying my eyes out. I've felt hopeless for the longest time.

"I've been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me."

Later, Bebe shared another update, expressing gratitude: "Thank you to everyone checking up on me.

Others speculated that her rant might be a strategic move to promote her new single, 'I'm The Drama'.

One skeptical fan remarked, "Doing this during promoting a new single 'I'm The Drama' is perfect timing - marketing or not! xx."
