Where did the heck my right kidney go? Seriously, I had a paper written about me...

I was a three-month premature birth. One of my kidneys was multicystic and non-functioning, so it was to be removed during my first surgery at 9 days old. So, I get cut open, and it was GONE.

I woke up from a nap in my room and I proceeded to walk into the kitchen. My mom was baking pies, asked me how I was doing, and then asked if I could run out to the garage (detached garage - grew up in a rural area) to grab some frozen pie dough from the freezer out there. I agree, walk outside, play with the dogs for a few minutes, then start walking to the garage. I get halfway there and the bushes rustle. A lot.

I said, "hello," get no response, and walk nervously towards the garage. Next thing I know, I wake up in my bed. I walk out to the kitchen where my mom is baking pies. I tell her I had a really strange dream and then she asked me if I got the pie dough. I freaked out.

Apparently, I left 15 or 20 minutes before I walked out of my room and she started questioning how I got in my room, I say I don't remember, and then we both realize that I had been tracking grass all over the linoleum (I went outside barefoot). It was followed by a lot of awkward silence and confusion.

I still have no idea what happened.

I think most likely it was sleepwalking, judging from what everyone is saying. I've only had one sleepwalking episode (that I know about), where I basically gathered everyone's shoes in the house and poured bleach on them.

Granted, I was really sick and hadn't slept for days, so I chalk it up to lack of sleep and stress on my body. However, back to the main point...I don't think it was a stroke, concussion, or multiple personality disorder because I haven't had any strange things happen to me since. This story happened when I was 16 or 17, and I'm going on 25 now, so I imagine something strange would've popped up by now. Additionally, I've had my heart checked out, as well as general check-ups since then, and I'm perfectly healthy. Thank you all for the concern, though. I appreciate it. Y'all are a caring bunch.

You may remember back in 2002 a five-year-old girl was abducted and murdered. Her name was Samantha Runnion. She was from California. I live on the other side of the country and was 15 years old at the time. Never heard of her in my life up until her abduction. I have no explanation for what I'm about to tell you.

One night in July of 2002 I was reading an issue of People magazine. I came across an article about Samantha Runnion. Her name was in BIG letters across the first page of the article and her picture took up almost the whole page. The article talked about her abduction. There was even a picture of her mother Erin bent over, crying in pain over her daughter.

On July 15th, 2002 (which was a Monday) I watched the news on CNN of the abduction of Samantha Runnion. My mom was watching the news with me. I told her that I knew about this a couple of days ago. My mom said that she was only kidnapped that afternoon (the 15th). I got chills like you wouldn't believe. I ran upstairs and went through EVERY magazine I could find trying desperately to find that article about Samantha. Never found it. Looked for days. Nothing.

I know for a fact that I read about Samantha Runnion's abduction a few days prior to her actually being abducted and murdered. I have no idea why this happened, why I was allowed to see (or read) the future. You don't know how many times I've thought about this experience over the past 10 and a half years. It remains a big mystery in my life.

I think about Samantha and her family often. I pray that they are doing okay, considering everything they've gone through. If you feel led, please say a prayer for them.

1 A.M. Parents wake up, house is on fire. Parents help get 5 out of their 10 kids out of the house. Dad tries to reach the other children (upstairs) with a ladder that was outside, ladder is missing. Dad tries to pull his two big trucks up to the window to climb the trucks and get kids out, both trucks will not start up. Dad tries to get water from rain barrel rain barrel is frozen solid. He tries to call the fire department, and there is no response. He tells a neighbor to call, also no response. Finally someone in town sees the fire and goes to the fire department the fire trucks don't arrive until 8 A.M., 7 hours after the start of the fire. Fire department investigates the house and finds no bones for the 5 kids, say that the bones were burnt to ashes. They say it was a wiring problem, but light bulbs were still working. People think that it was a cover up by law enforcement.

There was a District Attorney who had the opportunity to charge Sandusky's ass long before he got arrested. They later found his car abandoned and laptop in the Susquehanna river.

And to just make things more confusing he had his (personal or work laptop? I read conflicting things) with him and that was found without its hard drive (later obtained and completely destroyed) in the Susquehanna River. When investigators searched his home they were able to obtain some information regarding his internet searches, basically indicating that he wanted to learn how to destroy a hard drive.

We drove up to my friend's grandmother's house in the mountains of New Mexico for a skiing trip. On one of the first nights, we were all just hanging around the house and my friends went upstairs to play a drinking game; I stayed downstairs to watch tv in the living room. It was probably 11 pm and I was just about to doze off when I heard a BANG the back door swung in and slammed into the wall. I yelled, "What the fuck?!" And my friends ran to the stairs asking what happened. We turned on the outside lights and didn't see anybody but There was a trail of heavy footprints that went from the trees to the big window whoever was out there had been staring at me on the couch because there were no blinds or curtains and then the trail went to the door, and then disappeared around the corner of the house.

Needless to say, I didn't sleep that night.

I worked at the public library. I scanned a guy's library card then went to hand it back to him. He saw me start to hand it to him. Our hands were about a foot apart. Then suddenly the card was gone. It never made it into his hand. We were both totally confused, I looked under the computer, desk in weird cracks but never found it.

I still think about it.

My cousin got poisoned with thallium (sp?) sulfate when he was visiting his girlfriend's mother in Italy about 17 years ago. they did a tox screen and found it in his system along with it in the beer he drank. The Italian government cremated his body before my uncle and my aunt could investigate further.

I had my appendix taken out, and a year later I had to get it taken out again because it was growing back.Virginia's Colonial Parkway killers from 1986 to 1989. 4 couples killed in their cars while parked in Williamsburg/Newport News area. Never solved.

My dad and I have always had this strange connection that we're never been able to explain. The top three bizarre events in our lives are as follows:

1) when I was 4, my parents and I were at a hotel. My dad was sitting next to me as I was getting my shoes on. He was thinking "I wonder if those people are walking to get coffee from the lobby." I turned to him and asked "what's coffee?". My dad said he felt violated in a way he has never felt before.

2) when I was 9, my dad was telling me about this teacher he had when he was very young. He paused telling his story to try to remember her name. I turned to him and asked, "Was is it Mrs. Cow?" He looked up at me with a shocked expression, and said "yes! How did you know?". All I did was say the first thing that popped into my head.

3) when I was 19, I had a horrible dream one night. It was very vivid. I remember dreaming that there was a big hairy scorpion climbing up the walls in my bedroom. It dropped down and fell next to me on my bed before I woke up. In the morning, I came out to the living-room and saw my dad checking under the couch. I asked him what he was doing. He said "just checking for scorpions." I told him about my dream, and he looked up at me with a slight smile. "Was it hairy?" He said. We had the exact same dream.

I saw this one on the TV show Unsolved Mysteries. There was a group of five guys who went out in their small whaling boat in Hawaii to fish in 1979. There was a storm, and they never came back. Ten years later, their boat was found on the shore of a small island in the Marshall Islands with a shallow grave that someone made. The grave had some bones from one of the fishermen. However, scientists estimate it would have only taken 3 months for the boat to drift all that way, and a government survey of the small island was conducted six years prior and the boat and grave was not there. Nobody knows what happened to the rest of the men and nobody knows who laid the grave, no one knows how the boat was in the four years prior to the island's survey.

The post about how Colin Farrell was a suspect in an attempted murder case, which is still unsolved to this day. Farrell himself said the writer's sketch looked exactly liked him. The only thing that got him off the hook was his friend's journal which stated that he and his friend were doing ecstasy on the other side of town. The murder remains unsolved to this day.

If there's that much hair on the carpet, in my car, on the wall of the shower, down the drains & in my clean washing, how is there still so much on my head?

There was once an isolated island off the cost of Scotland where 3 lighthouse keepers lived and were responsible for keeping the building intact. One day, when their monthly supply ship dropped by, the island was silent. No response from the lighthouse keepers. Eventually, the captain and some crew members went to investigate and found a disturbingly empty lighthouse. 2 of the 3 waterproof coats were missing from their hangers and the kitchen was left in a state as if people had left in a hurry. The lighthouse log only added more mystery to the situation. The log described how one of the keepers wouldn't talk, and the other continuously cried for hours. All of this pain and fear seemed to be coming from a "powerful storm, looming in the distance". However this begs the question, why were they so scared of a simple storm? Should they have been safe in the brand new lighthouse right? The log goes on to talk about how they all sat close together and prayed for the storm to be over. The final log states: "The storm has passed, the skies are calm, god is overall".

Their bodies were never found and the cause of their death is still a mystery to this day. The most accepted theory is that they somehow got swept out to sea during the storm, never to be seen again. But one final detail remains one that scared the captain and his crew to the bone. The powerful storm described in the log didn't exist, there were no storms reported in the area. In fact, the skies were calm all day.

I´m a student and I´m living in a corridor where we share the kitchen, and we all clean up after ourselves. All but one that is, so it feels like I´m in a badly written Agatha Christi book, trying to find out who it is.

When I was with my family in South Africa we lived in two rooms. I had to live in the same room as my mother, and my brother with my dad, since we didn´t get along very well. Anyway, one night my mother wakes me in the middle of the night and says "There´s someone in here".

My heart rate goes trough the roof, and we turn on the light (maybe not the smartest idea, I mean, what would we do?) and there is no one there. I then remember that we live on the 10th floor so there couldn´t be anyone in the room. So we go back to sleep after some time. In the morning our money, cell phones and things like watches were gone.

My parents were in an abusive relationship and when I was a little kid in grade school, they got divorced. Soon after, my mother started seeing someone, and suddenly my life was really good. My mom's new boyfriend, whom I'll call Tony, was a mysterious man. My brother, sister, and I knew nothing about him except he was pretty rich. We knew this because my mother suddenly got a new car, bought us all cool gifts, and took us out to expensive restaurants almost daily.

Every month or so, we would hang out with our dad and he would take us to eat somewhere. He'd ask questions about my mom like, "How's she doing... etc." My gut feeling told me he knew my mom was in a relationship, my dad, who was in the military, was a pretty sharp guy, and he'd ask investigative questions of that sort.

But every time my dad came around to pick us up, my mom would make sure her boyfriend was not there. Actually, for any family member for that matter - whenever a cousin would come, and Tony was there, Tony would hide in the car. Tony didn't live with us, but he'd be in the house every two days or so.

Then about a year later, my dad calls home and says he cannot take it any longer and needs to live with us, his kids. That day was the last time I saw my mom. But I didn't care that day. I was too enveloped in computer games, and didn't notice her packing her bags. Didn't notice my brother going in there, talking to my mom for the longest time ever about God knows what, and like that, the next day, my mom was gone. Tony was too, obviously. That's when the truck of feelings hit me.

Then my dad came home. He talked about how he knew my mom was seeing someone, despite her lack of communication with him and that she ran away with Tony, back to her home country. I haven't seen, talked to, or heard from my mom since. My mom's closest friend who went to the same church as us, stopped going to the church soon after my mom departed. My gut tells me she knows my mom's secrets but it's too late to care about that anymore.

Where did my GREEN GAMEBOY COLOR WITH POKEMON SILVER IN IT GO.

I set it down to go with my mom somewhere when I was like 8 and I get back and it's GONE. I swear my sister did something with it, but it's been 12 years and she still won't admit it which makes me think my parents... I HAD JUST BEAT THE FIRST ELITE 4. Still so sour about that.

Oh and I set it down in my HOUSE, that's why I was so obsessed. Now I gotta go get my bulletin board with string and potential suspects. I'm reopening this case.

When I was 6 I attended a summer camp that just watched us during the day. It was out in the country and it had a horse pasture and a barn and stuff like that. Quite a lot of kids went there.

Anyways, one day I was sitting with a kid on this bar. The bar was cemented in and was like the barrier to the edge of the cement. I was 6 and not thinking, I turned the bar and the kid did an 180 and his skull came right down on the edge of the concrete, he just kinda laid there and didn't move.

I knew something was wrong and started crying and then messed all over myself. I have no clue what happened to the kid, but being out in the country, it took a while for help to get there. I just sat there in the office all soiled.

I broke into a cemetery one night with some friends. I was in mid-conversation with my friend when she suddenly disappeared. I began shouting her name, but she was nowhere in sight.

I headed back to the entrance to meet up with everyone else. She was there, crying and shaking, mad that I had abandoned her. But she wasn't gone for more than 5 seconds before she disappeared. Still not sure if she was messing with me or if some supernatural stuff happened.. I was watching TV home alone one night. It was MAD TV I think. Or Nick at Night. Something harmless and not at all frightening.

Then I noticed the image on the screen flickered slightly. Curiosity killing the cat as it often does I rewound it and then hit pause right at the point where it flickered.

In a little box on the screen sort of embossed into the picture were the words "I WILL BE BACK" and the E in BE was backward. It was so creepy. The hair on the back of my neck stood up. I had to just convince myself it was a glitch or something but I had the heebie-jeebies for the rest of the night.

Luckily my sister came home a couple hours later. I've always wondered what that meant, who it was for, and how it even happened.

Grew up in western Kansas. One day, middle of summer, I found a damp, soft-to-the-touch starfish...in the middle of a dry wheat field.

Showed it to everyone - no one believed I'd just found it in a field. No idea how/why/when it could have gotten there. It was a dry summer.

One time, during my college years, I saw what appeared to be a meteor impact the earth within a few miles of where I was driving my jeep. I immediately started out across fields to get to the site, but my girlfriend was with me and started freaking out. She was terrified of something, couldn't elucidate what or why and we were out at night in the middle of nowhere - so I just turned around, jeeped back to a road and we drove out of there. I still wish I'd been able to go see the impact site.

Ghost ships have always fascinated me. They're not necessarily that unsettling if you consider people might just have left the ships. Taken hostage by pirates or something.

But this is the story of the DutchSS Ourang Medan

Ships of the coast of Malaysia received some S.O.S messages from SS Ourang Medan.

"All officers including captain are dead lying in chartroom and bridge. Possibly whole crew dead."

Before anyone could get to the ship, another S.O.S message was sent from the ship:

"I die"

The American merchant ship Silver Star was first on the scene, quickly boarding the now drifting ship. They found the whole crew dead, eye's wide open with a terrified expression on their faces and arms stretching out in front of them as to shield themselves from something. The radio operator was found dead sitting by the Morse sending key, eye's wide open as well. No one on the ship looked physically hurt.

As the Silver Star tried to tow the ship back to port, the SS Ourang Medan caught started smoldering and sunk shortly thereafter.

What makes this scary to me is the actual S.O.S message. It sounds like somebody just woke up and noticed everyone's dead. The S.O.S messages have lots of Morse mistakes. Dots and dashes that didn't mean anything which could indicate that he wasn't used to sending Morse messages.

Stumbling upon a ghost ship with the dead crew would be a bit scary. But waking up finding your friends that you've spent the whole cruise with dead, frozen solid in what looks like the moment somebody stabs them, to the realize YOU are next?

Nope!

Nope!

I already posted a pretty good one but I have something more chilling and relevant to my actual life. At my cousins house inI think it was 2009 Dagsbouro Delaware sometime mid summer. We like to hunt bullfrogs to eat so we were scoping out some good water holes during they day, well my cousin she found a severed foot. Still bloody and pretty fresh looking. I even inspected it because i didn't believe it was real OH IT WAS REAL! Even had a bit of toe cheese. Where did the footless man go? Was it self inflicted? Assault? Was he murdered? If so who did it? Why did we hear nothing we had been outside all day and this was only about 200 meters into the woods. Could the rest of the mans body be somewhere in that woods? When the cops arrived they just put tape around where we found it and put the foot in an orange biohazard bag thing and left.

The woodlands and swamps of Sussex county DE are no place to stroll through without atleast a revolver or if you're decent with a bow. The swamps are known for body dumping and meth cooking and the woods are full of wild dog packs. The rural areas around here are basically un-policed so it's kind of just you know Learn how to hide and shoot at some point. We still fried up frog legs that night.

BONUS:

My great-grandfather lived in Cuba before Castro came to power. He had millions of dollars. He owned several houses, at least two being beach-front property, a trucking (or taxi, I forget) company that he bought with his money, and put my father and his sister as well as several cousins through private school. The twisted thing is, no one knows how he got all of his money. He had grown up a poor farmboy.

I also have a great-uncle on my mother's side who seems to have come from nowhere. No matter how many relatives I spoke to or how many records I looked up, he only started showing up once he married into the family (some family members theorized he was the bastard son of an aristocrat but no one really knows for sure. He was incredibly quiet).
