Being Single VS In A Relationship

#1 You Will Always Have Company

Being alone sucks and if you just had someone to be with things would be so much better for you. But being with someone sucks too. You'll never, and I repeat, never, be free again.

#2 You Have So Much Less Stress

Hey, being carefree and fancy-free is the bomb. Feel like going out at 1 AM? Just do it, you have no one to answer to but yourself. Unless you still live at home with your Momma.

#3 You Will Have So Much More Stress

You're going to lose your autonomy. You'll never be able to swing by the local pub for a drink, take the car for a spin, or go out with the gang. Everything you do will have to be agreed upon by a team of two, with nobody to break the tie.

#4 You Will Always Be Able To Do The Things You Enjoy

It's called being an adult, and you love every minute of it baby! Don't feel like doing dishes? Don't. Not feeling like going to work? Why bother, you have enough money saved for a lazy day. But sleeping single in a double bed is starting to get lonely. If you just had someone to cuddle with and maybe pick up the food wrappers from under the bed, it might be way better.

#5 You Will Never Be Allowed To Enjoy Anything, Ever

Oh, a partner to cuddle with in that bed would be sweet...but no, not after the first few months. Your bed is not just yours anymore, and don't expect it to be a love nest either because pretty soon you'll be fighting for covers and trying to hold onto the edge of the mattress so you don't fall on the floor. The best part of your day is going to be that time spent in a traffic jam listening to the radio.

#6 A Relationship Will Increase The Quality Of Your Life

When you're in a relationship you can say goodbye to burping the alphabet on queue, passing gas wherever and whenever you desire, or just hanging out at home. You'll start noticing strange things in the bathroom, from hanging panties to hair in the sink. You may long for the day you have someone to cling to, but no matter how much you try to hide it, you are going to be praying that your partner has some errands to run or is FINALLY going to leave you alone for an hour or two so you can go to the bathroom in peace. That loneliness you felt before hooking up will start looking better than a hot fudge sundae in July.

#7 Having Someone By Your Side Would Be So Amazing

You've heard of Netflix and Chill, but you've never had it before. For you, movie night at home is really chill. In fact, it's so chill that you find yourself watching every sappy movie on The Hallmark Channel and cuddling up with your favorite blanky. Better pull your hand out of your pants and go out and try to find a date.

#8 Having Someone By Your Side Is So Annoying

Okay, so that was a good date, but not really feeling like you chilled much. What's all the hype about Netflix & Chill anyway? All you did was watch Orange Is The New Black. Better luck next time? You're never going to be able to watch your favorite show again. And porn is out of the question. You're never going to go to that concert again, pick out your own food or clothing, or scratch your privates in public, and for Pete's sake, you're never going to be lonely again!
