In the middle of a field in Bali, an eerie Boeing Flight 373 has been mysteriously discovered, stirring up a whirlwind of questions and theories.

This out-of-place aircraft has been sitting untouched in a limestone quarry near the Raya Nusa Dua Selatan Highway, not far from the popular Pandawa Beach, and nobody seems to have any idea how it got there or what its original flight plan was.

Locals have been spinning tales and theories about this abandoned Boeing 737.

One popular story is that a wealthy businessman had plans to convert the aircraft into a restaurant.

This story, intriguing as it may be, remains unverified by official sources.

The plane has naturally attracted the curiosity of urban explorers and travelers looking for an offbeat experience.

Unfortunately, the site is fenced off, allowing visitors to only catch a glimpse from a specific viewpoint.

Adding to the mystery, Bali actually has another stranded Boeing 737.

This second plane, which has been stationary since 2007, sits next to a Dunkin' Donuts outlet.

Rumors again suggest that it was intended to become a restaurant.

In 2018, this second Boeing briefly served as a venue for events and has since remained an intriguing sight.

For those keen to visit the first mysterious Boeing, travel writer Tony Dunnell from Atlas Obscura offers some advice.

He mentions that the plane is somewhat hidden from the highway and can be easily missed.

He advises looking out for a wall of sea containers along the road.

The aircraft is visible by climbing these containers, or you can get a better perspective by following a path a little further down the road.

This leads to a higher vantage point above the plane, though a small entrance fee is required as the site is on private property.
