A memory many of us have is opening a lemonade stand and waiting patiently for customers to walk by. You either got a ton of people or none at all. Well, instead of wasting his time on a lemonade stand, a young boy thought he'd try something different. So he set up a table and a sign — but put out free toys instead of lemonade, and he's showing that even the smallest person can have the biggest heart.

Blake Work has already ditched the classic lemonade stand at just six years old.
Instead, he brought out some toys and set up a sign that read, "Cheer up, kids! Come to Blake Work's house, we have free toys for you!"

The idea for the free toy stand came after cleaning his room.
"He was overwhelmed with all the toys and we talked about those toys being blessings," said his mom Melissa Ann."We explained to him that not every kid gets to have toys like that, if any. That REALLY hurt his heart."

Blake kept his stand open for four hours, helping anyone who came by.
"One couple explained to us that they didn’t have much money. They had an 18-month-old son. They were so grateful, but simply wanted the books. So I told that to Blake and he ran back inside and grabbed more for them."

"I'm sure he has something up his sleeve with doing something like this again."
"I definitely encouraged it. It inspired me to do something similar in the near future."

Any toys that Blake didn’t give away he donated to his kindergarten teacher. They will be used as rewards for students.
"We are proud of him. This is the same kid who comes over to me in the middle of me cleaning the house, and he just looks up at me and thanks me for doing so. He's something special."
