The pop artist has been public about her estrangement from her family, including her father Jamie, mother Lynne, and sister Jamie Lynn, in recent months (who recently released her memoir).

"This message is to my family ... for hurting me deeper than you'll ever know !!!" she wrote on social media in October. "I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice !!!" (Jamie, Lynne, and Jamie Lynn have all denied any wrongdoing.)
Britney, who has claimed she has been the victim of "conservatorship abuse" over the previous decade, is still embroiled in legal disputes with Jamie, who has demanded that she pay his legal bills even though her conservatorship was ended in November.
Jamie, 69, requested that his daughter's estate pay his legal team for "ongoing fiduciary obligations connected to the winding up of the Conservatorship of the Person and Estate" in court filings submitted in December 2021.”
Britney responded in January with paperwork stating that while acting as her conservator, Jamie had broken California's standards of conduct by engaging in financial malfeasance. (During the conservatorship, Jamie has stated that he only had Britney's best interests at heart.)
On Jan. 19, at a court hearing to address legal fees, Los Angeles Judge Brenda Penny did not make a ruling on Jamie's request, instead deciding that it would be discussed at a hearing on July 27.
On her Instagram account last week, the "Stronger" singer revealed a letter she received from Congress, which was written by Congressmen Charlie Crist and Eric Swalwell and included an offer to meet.
Britney and her lawyer Mathew Rosengart were congratulated on their recent "historic victories" in the letter, which was dated Dec. 1, 2021.
Britney stated in the caption of her post that she was "instantly flattered" by the request to share her story, but that she was "not nearly at the healing stage I'm in now" at the time.
Meanwhile, on February 14, Britney spent her first Valentine's Day as an engaged pair with Sam Asghari.
The pop artist posted a lovely video on Instagram honoring her fiancé, which showed the two riding bikes outside and joking about a FedEx delivery truck.
"This man has been with me through it all !!!! I don't know what I would do without him so I think I will keep him around a bit longer …. I mean he is pretty hot 🥵 !!!!!" she captioned the video. "I love you @samasghari 👠👠👠👠👠💕💕💕💕 !!!!"
