Caitlyn Jenner has hit back at critics who slammed a restaurant for using images of her for their bathrooms.

After images of their bathroom facility were uploaded, the Texas restaurant gained notoriety back in 2017.

It depicted a picture of Caitlyn Jenner in her female appearance for the women's restroom and another image of her in her pre-transition state for the men's restroom.

Many people criticized the decision and demanded that Dodie's Place Cajun Bar & Grill in Allen remove the sign right away.

Trans activist Jess Herbst told Chron.com: "There is an obvious lack of understanding of gender dysphoria by the owner of the restaurant.

"Imagine the most humiliating and embarrassing moment of your life.”

"Remember how you felt inside, that gut-crushing, out of breath, verge of panic attack feeling.”

"Now imagine posting a giant photo of that moment in a very public place. This is how the photos in his bathroom make transgender people feel."

However, it appears that the drama's central character is unconcerned with it at all.

The same viral image was uploaded on Twitter/X with a question on whether it was hilarious.

Many individuals thought the upload was funny, while others thought it was insulting. This argument was greatly stirred by the upload.

Jenner, though, entered the discussion and declared it to be "funny as hell."

After getting a lot of backlash, Dodie's Place Cajun Bar & Grill made a statement in 2017 claiming they never intended to offend.

They thought it was just a 'lighthearted gesture to push back against the political correctness that seems to have a stranglehold on this country right now'.

"We believe that political correctness has done more to silence rather than encourage important discussions that our society probably needs to have," the social media statement said.

"Based on the mind-boggling feedback, both positive and negative, people are having that discussion."

In addition, it stated that labels like "transphobic, deviant, racist, bigot" simply serve to divide us.

"After all, we are all part of the same race - the human race," the restaurant said.

"Surely we can discuss this topic and many others without slapping hurtful labels on each other. Please know that we are here to discuss this and move forward as a community.”

"Everyone is welcome here."
