As a kid, I always loved magazines that had puzzles where a large detailed picture was presented and you had to find hidden images within the larger picture. I still love trying to solve these puzzles, as do many adults, given the popularity of these quizzes online.

Perhaps the reason we still enjoy this challenge as adults, is that it exercises our minds, in a modality we don't use every day. Hidden picture activities have an incredible capacity, to increase and sharpen, our skills of perception, depth, memory and recognition.
