Jeffrey Previte, 46, is a CEO of an LA-based environmental consulting. Recently, camera footage was revealed in which Jeffrey was seen mercilessly beating an innocent puppy.
The man was beating his defenseless four-month-old dog and was seen holding the puppy off the ground by its neck and then slapping him.
The disturbing footage starts when Jeffrey enters his house and finds something on the ground beside the puppy. Then suddenly he angrily grabs the dog by the right side of his head with his left fist. Then Jeffrey crazily starts shaking and slapping the dog.
Jeffrey opens the door and takes the dog with him. Then he emerged behind the door carrying the poor puppy with his right hand clenched around his throat. The dog continues crying helplessly.
Jeffrey, who turned out to be a monster, then repositioned his hand to carry the dog by the collar. He slapped the dog before putting him down and then carried him off-camera.
The dog's cries were heard by a concierge who called the police and reported the incident. The concierge has asked to be anonymous, he heard the animal's cry for help from the building's front desk.
The concierge told;
“I heard the dog screaming, and when I looked on the camera, I saw him beating the dog.”
“He became irate… and then he hung up on me. He apologized the next day, but I didn’t think it was a sincere apology.”
Jeffrey acted all innocent and refused to accept his crime.
“There’s nothing illegal about what I did.”
“The building manager took it very seriously. I find it very unfortunate that we are even talking about this.”
Though Jeffrey thinks he did nothing wrong, the company he works with took this very seriously. EBI Consulting has already pulled his profile from its leadership page.
Not only that, but the Santa Monica Police Department also took action after the incident. The police say the case is under investigation.
The police also informed through a tweet that the Animal Services Unit is also investigating the incident for a possible violation of penal code 597(a).
This law is against people who ‘intentionally mean, torture, manipulate, or hurt any living animal.’
After the action was taken against Jeffrey, he apologized, saying:
“I want everyone to know that I truly regret my actions. Words can’t fully describe how sorry I am for what happened.”
“I lost my temper and took unreasonable and unjustifiable action in attempting to discipline my dog Bici.”
“As I have said, words are not enough here. Bici is no longer living with me and is with another loving family.”
“I have also stepped away from my job and am enrolling in anger management training.”
Though he apologized, there are chances that Jeffrey could still face charges of animal cruelty.
