Chappell Roan surprised many fans when she appeared in a revealing outfit during Paris Fashion Week.

The singer has gained attention for bold fashion choices in the past, and her latest appearance continued that trend.

Only a month earlier, the Pink Pony Club singer walked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards wearing a look that quickly became one of the most talked-about outfits of the night.

Roan wore a sheer wine-red Mugler dress. The top section of the dress featured a striking design element that connected directly to her nipples.

As soon as photos of the look began circulating online, many fans rushed to social media to react.

One person wrote: "CHAPPELL ROAN THE WOMAN THAT YOU ARE."

A second fan added: "Oh my f**king god Chappell Roan," while another person commented: "Chappell Roan's outfit...whew."

Despite the daring style, the outfit still followed the official dress rules of the awards ceremony.

This meant the singer stayed within the event’s guidelines while still delivering a bold fashion moment.

Just a few weeks after that red carpet appearance, Roan surprised fans again with another eye-catching outfit.

She attended the McQueen Autumn/Winter 2026 show on Sunday, March 8, during Paris Fashion Week.

The 28-year-old arrived wearing a sheer black dress paired with a black thong underneath.

She chose not to wear a bra with the look, which added to the bold style that quickly caught attention.

The outfit was styled by Genesis Webb and featured a custom Alexander McQueen design created by the brand’s creative director Sean McGirr.

Roan’s Grammys outfit last month also sparked a lot of discussion online.

Some people praised the look while others questioned how far the singer had pushed the boundaries of red carpet fashion.

After the debate began spreading on social media, Roan responded directly to critics on Instagram.

"Giggling because I don't even think this is THAT outrageous of an outfit. The look's actually so awesome and weird," she wrote.

"I recommend just exercising your free will it's really fun and silly :D."

Makeup artist Andrew Dahling later explained how the creative team approached the look.

Speaking with Marie Claire, Dahling described the thought process behind the overall design and styling.

He said: "There was so much going on - the tattoos, the prosthetic nipples, all of it, but overall we wanted everything to feel cohesive and really honor the dress and the medieval world we were living in."

The makeup artist also explained how the visual theme developed as the styling process continued.

"We started with this very archival, full, bare moment. Once the tattoos came into play, everything became very medieval, but in a real way. It's still fantasy and something otherworldly, but grounded."
