Check Out These Cats Starring In “RuPaul’s Drag Race”
A question for the times:
What do you do when you're a fan of the reality TV show RuPaul's Drag Race, find yourself in possession of a cat, and have perhaps a little too much free time on your hands?
Clearly, the only sensible answer is to dress up said kitty in outfits based on characters throughout the show’s history
and then Instagram the heck out of the results.
That’s exactly what the fantastically-named RuPaw’s Drag Race account has done
here's a taste of what to expect if you visit.
Raja’s Return
Originally posted in honor of this year's LGBT Pride soiree, here our patient queen kitty is bedazzling it up as Raja from the show's third season.
The Purple One
There's a whole lot of catty Lil Kim vs. Meat Loaf banter going on in the comment to this snap, but for the record let's just say that our soon-to-be-iconic feline host pulls off this purple ensemble with a little more class than Ginger Minj.
Bearded and Beautiful
After Violet Chachki strutted around the set with hirsute elegance, every kitty began to dream about adding a literal beard to their prom outfit.
Brace Yourself!
Yes those are fabulized dental braces on a cat.
Katya Zamo’s Crown
The sassy kitty chompers on display here are a must when homaging the show's own Miss Congeniality, Katya. The crown seals the deal.
Break Time!
If you're not supping your milk from a martini glass then you have no business glamming it up for a drag race.
Stay Stoic
From the facial expression alone, I'll suggest that by the time it came to pay tribute to season five's Jinkx Monsoon, the feline star of RuPaw's Drag Race was perhaps losing a little enthusiasm with all of the dressing up antics.
Say It Loud and Proud
But our fierce-faced tabby hostess certainly knows all about the motto!
