#1 Due to the potential of an overdose by children, 9 major drug retailers including CVS and Rite-Aid have recalled a children's cold medicine.
#2 Sold under several different store brand names, the medicine is manufactured by the Perrigo Pharmacy Company. The package contains a dosage cup with incorrect markings that could lead parents to accidentally give their children too much medication, the manufacturer said in a news release on Monday.

#3 Company officials said, the recall includes batches of any of the store brand children's grape liquid and three batches of its children's liquid cough medicine sold in 4-ounce bottles with dosage cups. The company only sells store brand medicines, and this does not effect major brands.
#4 Among the stores effected by the recall are Kroger, Goodsense, Sunmark, Family Dollar, Rite-Aid, Dollar General, and Walgreens. Care One, Giant, Stop & Shop, and CVS pulled the store-branded medicine from their shelves early last week. It's expected that many smaller independent pharmacy's will also be pulling the medications.
