After the finish of Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar Summer Slam match, an intense verbal and somewhat physical altercation between Lesnar and Chris Jericho broke out.
According to multiple sources, Jericho came to the gorilla position just as the match ended, apparently to see if Orton was okay and to find out what exactly happened. He asked Michael Hayes what the finish was or if that was the finish. Hayes wouldn’t answer him at which point Jericho said, “That’s bullsh*t.”

Jericho made that comment right as Brock Lesnar returned from the ring. Lesnar thought Jericho was talking about his match, and called Jericho a pussy according to one source, while another source reports he said "shut up", and to mind his own business. (Yeah OK, because pro-wrestlers settle their differences like 3rd graders.)
The two superstars got up close, face-to-face and started exchanging words. Lesnar shoved Jericho with his fingers, and Jericho did what announcers describe as the "Rousey-Tate" forehead press. One version also says Jericho had Lesnar pressed against the wall at one point.

The match was not only short but ended in a TKO, which disappointed several wrestling fans. Surprisingly, this led to a heated backstage confrontation between Lesnar and another former World Champion, Chris Jericho.
he way Lesnar in which hammered the forehead of the Viper with his elbows was painful to watch. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Chris Jericho was concerned about Orton's health and came to the gorilla position as soon as the match ended. The WWE veteran wanted to make sure if Orton was alright and enquired with WWE producer Michael "PS" Hayes regarding the matter. Jericho reportedly uttered "Bul*s**t" as Hayes didn't give him a proper reply.

Jericho's "bulls--t" comment came just as Lesnar was returning backstage. Lesnar, thinking Jericho was talking about the match, called Jericho a "p---y," according to one version, or just said "shut up," according to another version, and for Jericho to mind his own business. They came face to face and had words. One version of the story says they were shouting at each other the whole time.

Triple H reportedly told Vince that Lesnar started the fight, and that Jericho was just standing up for himself. No more words were exchanged but Jericho saw Orton's condition and got mad. It was noted that Jericho was concerned with Orton's health and safety, but Orton assured him that he knew what was going to happen.
