Christian Bale Wows As Gorr The God Butcher In New Thor Role

Marvel fans were already excited for the newest installment of Thor as the new Disney production’s star just keeps rising up. The latest trailer release however had fans on the edge of their seat with some insane new reveals, one of which was Christian Bale as the villain called Gorr the God butcher.

Taika Watiti who saw great success when creating the previous installment of the Thor franchise reprises his job at the director’s helm. Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman return to the franchise as well.

What had most viewers clutching their chests however was the reveal of Christian Bale’s look. Bale who is known for undergoing dramatic transformations for his roles, does it once again, as his character refuses to let Thor find the inner peace he seeks after the events of Endgame.

Thor who had teamed up with the Guardians in the last movie is seen alongside old favorites such as Groot, Rocket the Raccoon, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and more.

Watiti calls this movie the “craziest thing I’ve ever done” which is saying something because his career history already has some insanely good moments.

Natalie Portman also revealed that her character will also be seen battling cancer as she weilds Mjolnir alongside Thor.

It remains to be seen just how Bale is going to upend the lives of our favourite rag tag group of heroes but we’re sure it will be entertaining as hell to watch.
