'Oh hell no,' a feeling shared by many when it comes to these kinds of challenges... yet somehow, we just can’t resist trying to solve them
I can’t stand these kinds of tests… but somehow, I just can’t help myself. I always think, 'What if you’re recruited, you need to know if you’d make a great sharpshooter.'
Honestly, I have no idea why I’m like this, but I know I’m not the only one!
A new brainteaser is blowing up on Reddit, showing an industrial-sized coffee grinder filled with thousands of beans. Hidden somewhere in the mix is a small stone that’s hard to spot—can you find it?
If you’re able to locate the pebble in under 10 seconds, you might have what they call 'sniper vision,' as it’s so well camouflaged that it’s stumped plenty of people.
The image was posted in the subreddit 'FindTheSniper,' where users share pictures with items cleverly 'hidden in plain sight'.
Responding to the 'Find the pebble in this coffee' post, one commenter exclaimed: "Oh hell no."
Another user chimed in, saying: "I'm with you. I'm not gonna destroy my brain looking for that."
A third person simply stated: "Some people just want to watch the world burn."
But yes, the pebble is actually there, hiding right in plain sight. You’ll probably need to zoom in quite a bit to spot it—at least, that’s what I had to do once I knew where to look.
"Actually found it in less than 10 seconds! And I never find them, even the easier ones!", one user commented.
Another user pointed out: "Left side. Follow where the beans are on the pole down just a little bit. There is something white that looks like a tooth."
Someone else added: "Found it, left side. i have the hyper focus of a God."
If you found this one fun, there are plenty more hidden “snipers” waiting to test your eyes.
Recently, a photographer managed to capture a photo of an actual sniper hidden from his target, but to an untrained eye, they’re practically invisible.
Photographer Simon Menner created his 'Camouflage' series, capturing various environments with one unique challenge: each image has a sniper concealed somewhere in it.
So, the real question is, can you spot the sniper in the photo?
On his website, Menner described his series with the following: "Even though they are invisible due to their professionalism, there are hidden snipers in every of these images. They are aiming at the camera and therefore at the viewer."
Menner captured these impressive photos with support from the German, Lithuanian, and Latvian Armies, who granted him 'generous access to their snipers' to help with the project.
Happy hunting!
