Conor McGregor is done? I thought it was all just a joke, just a prank bro But it turns out he really is done, at least for now. He has been pulled from his UFC 200 rematch against Nate Diaz after claiming he has decided to "retire young".

The UFC featherweight champion sparked a social media frenzy after posting a cryptic tweet on Tuesday.

#2 The 27-year-old wrote: “I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya’s later.”

He was already "pulled" from the event before the tweet went down 8 hours ago.

UFC President Dana White said the decision was made after McGregor told UFC officials he would not participate in any promotional activities

#3 This was suppose to be the UFC’s record breaking event. Good thing for White, he still has Diaz, hot off his win against Connor.

Nevermind

Nate Diaz Says He Is Also Retiring Following Conor McGregor's Post on Twitter.

"I guess my work here is done I'm retiring too," Diaz tweeted. Diaz was scheduled to fight McGregor at UFC 200 in July.

It remains to be seen what Dana White and UFC will do with UFC 200, scheduled for July 9 in Las Vegas. As of right now, the UFC's website lists the main event as "To Be Announced" vs. "To Be Determined," with the interim featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar still listed as the co-main event.

Speaking on ESPN's SportsCenter Tuesday evening, White said: "Obviously, we still have a good relationship with Conor.

"I respect Conor as a fighter and I like him as a person. But you can't decide not to show up to these things. You have to do it."
