Cop Rescues Dog Trapped In Fence, Hilariously Finds Dog Waiting In His Cruiser Moments Later

The video, taken by an officer by the name of Nick Shepard when summoned to a local home, shows a poor dog caught in an elderly woman's fence. No one knows how the chocolate lab got itself so hopelessly stuck, but thankfully an officer showed up with wire clippers to free the animal.

While a bit grainy, you can see in the image how the dog is literally upside down, his foot absolutely caught in the fence. In the video, you can see that rather than being afraid, the labrador is actually wagging his tail at the approaching officer.

After struggling for a few minutes with cutting the wire of the fence, the officer finally manages to free the dog, who immediately takes off running.

"He was just hurt," Shepard says to the woman in the video before chasing after the dog.

After not initially finding the dog, officer Shepard goes to head back to his car when realizes something amazing the dog has jumped into his car and is literally waiting for him in the driver's seat.

"You gotta be kidding," Shepard laughs in the video, and we couldn't agree more! The lab just pants happily in the driver's seat, waiting for his ride home.
