Sarah Rosado is a self-taught artist and photographer who clearly knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. One morning, when Rosado was eating her favorite breakfast cereal, Corn Flakes, and listening to John Lennon, she had a brilliant idea to combine the two. And so began her latest project, 'Celebrity Cereal Art.'
Rosado started with John Lennon, and from there, she's tackled Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, and a host of other celebrity musicians. To create each portrait, she listens to the artist's music to help her get in the zone. She uses whole Corn Flakes for most of her projects, but sometimes has to crush a few flakes for the finer details like eyes and lips. Though it may look easy to play with breakfast cereal, it takes Rosado about five hours to complete each portrait.
