Couple Packs Up Their 12 Children And Roams The Country In Their RV

Back in 2012, this couple gave up their home in Colorado and their jobs to live in this RV and travel across America and Canada with their 12 children as part of a fun vacation that just has not seemed to have ended yet. Together, they have racked up close to 100,000 miles and gained a reality TV show called the Kellogg Show.

This family has spent the majority of the last five years living in a 1999 Georgie boy Cruisemaster raising and homeschooling their children who range from age four to 24 years of age.

They did not take this trip without some backlash. Many people have accused the parents of being selfish and crazy for uprooting their kids to run off and enjoy this crazy lifestyle. Other people assumed they were on welfare or even living off of some family trust funds instead of their own hard earned incomes and savings from being self employed entrepreneurs.

The family, who all seem to be adrenaline junkies love kayaking and extreme sports, has covered more than 40 US states and all of eastern Canada during their travels.

The parents say that they felt strongly that their children should know that there is so much more to life than working to get the bills paid.

Dan works remotely as a software developer and has taught some of the older children how to code.

The older kids take odd jobs writing code for several hours each week so that they can earn their own money to purchase kayaking and other gear for their travels.

Even though they faced a lot of backlash when they decided to travel like this with their children, they would not have done it any differently. The family seems to be having the time of their lives.

The family is packed full of entrepreneurs who are just living the dream life.

A couple of the children are going to compete for the US Freestyle Kayak team in Argentina this summer.
