When he was 16-years-old, Weller was involved in a dangerous, life-threatening accident when he got suck in a snowbank. Fortunately, a passerby stopped and saved Weller's life. Weller tried his best to repay the man for his heroic deed, but the man refused to accept any time of money or compensation.

Since this incident, Weller has developed a generous nature and has been trying to "repay" the man by paying the good deed forward and helping as many people as he can. Like the Good Samaritan that saved his life, Weller does not accept any money for his services. Instead, he gives them a card that reads, "Assisting you has been my pleasure. Pass on the favor by helping someone in distress that you may encounter."

But in 2011, the Highwayman lost a piece of of himself when his trademark car named "Beulah" was totaled in an accident. "I miss Beulah," Weller confides in a video with Foster Visuals, " It was like a part of me was killed as well."

To repay the Highwayman for his great deeds, the citizens of San Diego came together to do something amazing for him. I won't spoil what they did, so be sure to watch the video.
