Jack's skull failed to unite completely. This premature state was discovered on his head at birth. Jack was then admitted for a surgery.

Positive attitude lies within Jack's family. His father Jonathan Moxey thought of something better for that plain thing.

Jonathan wanted to make Jack a source of happiness for everyone. Aside from that, he is a solid Star Wars fan. What a perfect combination! So, he made cool Star Wars-inspired helmets for Jack from time to time.
