Dental Hygienists Reveal Their Thoughts & Feelings About Your Visit

Seeing a dentist is a necessary evil we should all be doing once every 6 months. All those gummy bears, ice cream binges, Oreo feasts, and pouring pure sugar down your throats takes its toll on your dental health. Feeling a little twinge here, a little pang there, are pretty good signs that something is not right.
The dentists and dental hygienists who are responsible for fixing your mouth see a lot of ugly teeth during the day. They can take one look at your mouth and know if you’ve regularly flossed, brushed appropriately, and used that painful mouthwash.
Here are some confessions from dental hygienists of what they think of your mouth.
#1 Isn’t it rude if you don’t brush your teeth beforehand? Nobody wants to breathe stink all over your dentist’s face.
#2 As long as they can’t see the disgust in your eyes either.
#3 I’m sure some people are very happy about that.
#4 Getting your teeth cleaned is sexy. Plus, that whole oral fixation thing
#5 Calling them liars would get them to floss more. Maybe.
#6 Wait. When your mouth is wide open, it’s pretty difficult to swallow. Suck it out of me and quit complaining
#7 Ummm. You should be fired. Like yesterday.
#8 Flossing is more important than brushing. So I’ve heard.
#9 Something tells me you’ll need to see a dentist about that.
#10 Some people are cavity prone. At least you know someone who can fix them 🙂
#11 Hopefully, she can afford some glamorous veneers.
#12 Interesting pet peeve.

#14 Just to make sure they aren’t going to stab you with your dental equipment
#15 I had a dental hygienist flirt with me. It was nice until they hit some cavities.
