The first trailer for 'Despicable Me 4' has finally been released, sparking a uniform reaction among fans.
It's not just the shock of realizing it's been nearly 14 years since the first 'Despicable Me' movie hit the screens in 2010, but something else has caught the viewers' attention.
Get ready for another round of minion madness: 'Despicable Me 4,' directed by Chris Renaud and co-directed by Patrick Delage, promises to be an exciting addition to the beloved franchise.
Fans are gearing up for more hilarious minion antics.
Returning to voice the characters are Steve Carell as Gru and Kristen Wiig as Lucy, with Miranda Cosgrove as Margo and Dana Gaier as Edith.
Adding to the star-studded cast are Will Ferrell from 'Barbie' and Sofia Vergara from 'Griselda.'
According to Universal Pictures' synopsis, "Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Emmy winner Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Emmy nominee Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run."
The familiar cast of characters, including Gru's adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes, as well as minions Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and many others, return.
But the movie also introduces a new, tiny character to the storyline.

The latest trailer reveals a significant development: Gru and Lucy have had a baby.
This addition brings a new dimension to the animated characters' lives, reminding viewers that even in animation, characters can have sex.
Though the film thankfully spares audiences from witnessing the birds and the bees of animated characters, this revelation has nonetheless sent fans to social media in a state of astonishment.
Many are finding it hard to come to terms with the idea that Gru, a character they've known for years, is now depicted as a father.

Another added: "Gru from minions has canonically had sex idk how to feel abt that."
Comments ranged from shock to humor, with one person exclaiming: "GRU DOES THE SEX?!?!"
While another stated: "Never thought I'd live long enough to see Gru have sex."
However, not everyone was taken aback, as evidenced by one enthusiastic response: "GRU HAS SEX HELL YEAH!!!!"
