When you're in the water, you might think that you sometimes see things that aren't there. You could also see images that look like one thing but turn out to be something completely different. A group from Pink Tank Scuba saw something stunning while they were off the coast of Victoria, Australia. Fortunately, it was captured on film.

As the divers started swimming close to what they thought was a pile of debris or maybe a large piece of coral, they soon realized that it wasn't what they imagined. Getting closer to the pile, they saw that it was moving. The movement wasn't simply back and forth that you might see from the waves of the ocean.

The pile that the divers saw was a group of crabs. They are spider crabs that gathered in a large pile for molting and migration. This was something that although is common, it's not usually seen in such a large group. Some of them were getting sponges on their backs to make themselves look camouflaged or decorated. The crabs don't stay in this shape for long periods of time. This is an event that is rare to see with the eye, even by those who are frequently in the water.
