Two pit bull friends at a Minneapolis shelter, Brenda and Linda, became inseparable and one of them scaled a wall to reunite with the other in a neighboring kennel, says Minneapolis Animal Care and Control (MACC).

One of the dogs at the animal shelter seems to be more Houdini than Hound, which has confused the staff members.
Around the same time as fellow pit bull Linda, Brenda the pit bull ended up at Minneapolis Animal Care and Control.
Since then, they have grown to be the best of friends and share a friendship that is unbreakable.
Madison Weissenborn, a worker at Minneapolis Animal Care and Control, claimed that she had never witnessed two dogs develop that close to one another so soon.
"Me and another employee were walking through the kennels, and we walked by and we had to do a triple take, like, 'What's going on?' Because two [pit bulls] came to the front of the kennel to greet us,'" Weissenborn explained, according to PEOPLE.
She added: "We were like 'what!?'"
Brenda had been sneaking out of her pen, and security camera footage showed how smart she had been.
Weissenborn claimed that at that point, she and her coworkers realized that Linda and Brenda needed to be found a fur-ever home together as a unit.
"We knew that they had to be together," she said. "We rewatched the video that we have, and I just about died. I was like this is truly magnificent."
As a result of the coronavirus and the rising expense of living, it might be difficult to find homes for older or larger dogs, and pound admissions are continually rising.
"People are moving away, moving into places that don't allow specific breeds," Weissenborn explained.
"We're also seeing people experiencing homelessness that didn't before and are [many are] just in hard times."
The largest problem for shelters, though, is not surrendering.
The US Animal Humane Society reports that there is a severe lack of veterinary technicians.
Dr. Graham Brayshaw, director of veterinary medicine for the Animal Humane Society, disclosed that the number of veterinarians has decreased significantly since the coronavirus outbreak.
"We probably have about two-thirds of our vet tech staffing compared to what we had pre-pandemic for the same number of buildings, which means we can't help the same number of animals," Dr. Brayshaw said, as per CBS.
One fortunate Minneapolis family has already purchased Brenda and Linda.
The ideal group has persisted; their futures are linked and they will always be by each other's sides.
However, there are lots of other pups out there searching for love, so venture forth and discover your own.
Brenda and Linda are happy having each other, thus they are great.
