Fans were left confused by Doja Cat's new tattoo, and many speculated that she might be an Illuminati member.

The famous singer delighted fans on Monday, May 1, with her dramatic outfit at the 2023 Met Gala, where she dressed as Karl Lagerfeld's well-known cat Choupette.

After causing the internet to go crazy, the hitmaker, whose true name is Amala Ratna Sandile Dlamini, continued to draw attention.

The Candy singer displayed her new body art, which covered her entire upper back, on Instagram.

She chose a complex bat skeleton, complete with broad wings that crossed her shoulder blades.

However, this isn't the first tattoo the celebrity has that is based on animals; back in April, she unveiled a tattoo of an animal figure with female characteristics.

Doja clarified the significance of her new tattoo in her post, which stoked the flames of the conspiracy.

The post reads: “To the Indian tribes of the northwestern United States, bats are symbols of diligence; while in the Great Plains, they imparted wisdom on their people. In the southwest and Mexico, they are representative of death and rebirth, because they go underground in the early morning, and appear again each night in a noisy hoard. So they are reborn every night, flooding out from their caves.”

The captioned the post: “Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old and bringing in the new. They are symbols of transition, of initiation, and the start of a new beginning.”

Fans have been convinced that she is a member of a hidden cult ever since she displayed her new tattoos.

She has faced accusations of promoting Satanism through her tattoos before, indicating that this is not the first instance.

Throughout the year, there have been several assertions made regarding A-list singers promoting conspiracy theories.

In particular, following Beyoncé's remarkable performance in Dubai earlier this year, certain individuals believed that she alluded to the Illuminati throughout the concert.

One user penned: “Satan seems to be having his way with my girl Doja! Hell is hot and it’s real. Don’t let Lucifer trick you into believing he can do what God can for you!!! [heart emoji].”
