#1 If you thought sharks were the apex predators of the ocean then you were dead wrong.
Where ever there are killer whales they become the apex predators in those waters. Orca whales are considered some of the cutest animals the ocean has to offer, but it has earned it's nickname of "killer whale" for a reason. They are some of the smartest pack hunters in the animal kingdom, luckily they rarely ever go after humans. Also, fun fact, killer whales are actually dolphins.
This footage was accidentally captured by a drone that was flying over a pack of orcas when they started chasing a juvenile shark. It didn't take long for them to get a hold of it in their jaws, nature is brutal even for the top predators.
