Dylan Sprouse Reportedly Held Trespasser At Gunpoint After Frightening Home Invasion Scare

Dylan Sprouse reportedly held a suspected intruder at gunpoint after a possible break-in scare was first reported by his wife, Barbara Palvin. The incident is said to have unfolded outside the couple's home and quickly turned into a police matter.

It is understood that Palvin, 32, spotted what was described as a 'creepy guy' on the lawn of the Spanish-style property she shares with the The Suite Life of Zack & Cody actor, 33, on Friday, April 17. What began as a disturbing sight outside the house quickly raised fears that someone had entered the grounds without permission.

The Victoria's Secret model, who married Sprouse in 2023, placed an emergency call to Los Angeles authorities at about 12:30AM, according to law enforcement. That call appears to have set off the fast police response that followed.

A representative for Sprouse later confirmed to Rolling Stone that the actor physically confronted the trespasser and pinned him down on the property until officers arrived. That response suggests the situation was serious enough that he felt he needed to act before police reached the scene.

TMZ also reported that before tackling the man, Sprouse had him at gunpoint. That detail added even more attention to the story, since it pointed to how tense and potentially dangerous the situation may have felt in the moment.

The outlet also published footage of the arrest that appeared to show the suspect, whose face was blurred, being placed in handcuffs by police. The video quickly became part of the wider public reaction once the story started spreading.

After officers got there, the suspect was taken into custody because of outstanding warrants, according to the Los Angeles Times. That means police did not only respond to the trespassing report, but also found another legal reason to detain him.

Officials also said no one was hurt during the incident. They further reported that the suspect never made it inside the couple's Los Angeles home, which appears to have prevented the situation from becoming even more serious.

That part is especially important because it suggests the confrontation happened before the intruder got deeper into the property. Even so, a stranger reaching the lawn in the middle of the night was still enough to leave the situation feeling deeply unsettling.

It also explains why the response from both Sprouse and Palvin was so immediate. From their point of view, there was no way to know how far the trespasser might go if he was not stopped quickly.

At the time of writing, though, the alcohol brand's website appears to have expired and customers are not able to place orders. That has led to questions about whether the business is still active or whether it has quietly come to an end.

In June 2023, Sprouse announced that he and Palvin had actually been engaged since September 2022. The couple had kept that milestone private for a while before deciding to share it publicly.

Just one month later, they got married at Harlekin Birtok, a venue located on her parents' property in the Hungarian countryside. The wedding setting gave the event a personal and family-centered feel rather than a flashy celebrity tone.

The two exchanged vows in the church in Albertirsa, surrounded by 'all the people [they] loved and cared for'. That description helped paint the ceremony as intimate, emotional, and centered on the people closest to them.

"We all cried a little. The weather was perfect with a little cool breeze. It was a beautiful moment that we will never forget," Palvin said, according to British Vogue.

That memory offers a very different picture from the frightening scene now tied to their home. It is one more reason the trespassing incident landed so strongly in public, because it clashed with the more private and grounded image the couple usually projects.

For now, the most important detail is that neither Sprouse nor Palvin was injured and the suspect was stopped before entering the home. But the episode still serves as a reminder that even a quiet night at home can turn into something serious in a matter of minutes.
