Even though we have watched innumerable videos of owners and their dogs reuniting over the years, we are still in awe at how amazing they are. This post's touching depiction of a Golden Retriever and her owner reuniting is no different. It will undoubtedly make you feel good inside and could possibly make you cry. Because it is so moving, get the Kleenex ready.
Buddy, a 13-year-old Golden Retriever, spent all of her time on earth with Hannah Foraker, who was her closest companion. But Hannah joined the army when she turned 21 and reported to Oklahoma for basic training.
As Hannah had to say goodbye to her animal companion and her horse, Derby, her heart ached. Hannah was eager to see Buddy when she returned home for Christmas after spending three months away at basic training. And when Buddy finally met Hannah again, she was so overjoyed and excited that she could not control it.
Since Buddy was a puppy, Hannah and Buddy have been dating. Buddy welcomed Hannah with open arms despite the fact that she is now extremely elderly, has arthritis, and is largely deaf. She puts her head in Hannah's lap and sobs with joy when she finally sees Hannah after three months away. Naturally, Hannah was deeply moved and started to pet her cherished companion.
“We opened the front door and she came running out and greeted me and my family, but then kind of did a double take and came back to me,” Foraker said.
As you can see, Buddy serves as a reminder of dogs' steadfast loyalty. They show "unconditional love" to people they care about and never forget them. Because they are our friends and family, we must thus take good care of our best pals.
