A 25-year-old electrician had a close escape with death after he fell into a 720 °C vat of molten aluminum.

The most startling part of this incident is that the man survived the incident and not to ignore the fact that he pushed himself out of the metal himself.

He is now being treated for some very serious injuries.

But it is no less than a miracle that he managed to escape it alive. It is reported that the electrician was carrying out his work on the furnace at a factory in St Gallen in Switzerland at the time of the incident.

He slipped through the trapdoor into the hot metal beneath and went knee-deep in the super-hot aluminum.

One cannot even imagine the pain he went through, even though the alarm was raised immediately and he managed to escape it quickly.

Paramedics and doctors were rushed to the scene before the air ambulance arrived to rush him off to the hospital.

Officials have also launched an investigation into the circumstances to investigate the matter.

Serious site incidents like these have also been reported before, as another one like this occurred at this same foundry with an inexplicable explosion in 2014 leaving a man with horrific burns to his face.

There is no doubt that the man who fell into the burning hot metal is one lucky chap to make out of it alive, but his injuries are really severe and only time will tell the implications it will have on his life ahead.

Recently, another man had a dramatic escape from molten metal after an accident saw a huge vat full of the liquid metal crash to the floor of a factory.

It is not yet known if the liquid metal was across the floor when the man was near it. The incident reportedly happened in a foundry in Iran and was captured on CCTV, which showed the moment the metal crashed onto the floor, whilst the man somehow managed to get out of the way of it.

The liquid metal had the appearance of lava as it fell to the floor, consuming the whole of the factory floor in the process.

The incident reportedly happened back in January but it quickly went viral on social media.

Incidents like these make us question the safety the workers at these factories are provided and what the authorities do to ensure that fatal incidents like these can be prevented in the future.

However, it’s a reach to call the man who fell into the molten aluminum lucky, despite the fact that he had the good fortune of keeping his life.
