Just when it seemed like something had been resolved once and for all - and I mean that literally, no pun intended - you can always rely on Eminem to bring it back to the forefront and make sure we all remember it.

At 51, the Detroit-born rapper has not held anything back on his latest album, "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)."

In this release, he bids farewell to his alter ego while also tackling a variety of current issues.

Eminem has never avoided incorporating controversial topics into his music, often surprising his audience with his incredible wordplay and sharp jabs at other celebrities.

However, taking a shot at Amber Heard is something he hasn't done before.

You might recall Eminem dissing Diddy on the track "Antichrist" or contemplating his own mortality on "Temporary," but it's actually the seventh track on his twelfth album that really left listeners shocked.

In the track titled "Lucifer," Eminem chose Amber Heard, the 38-year-old Aquaman actress, as the focus of a harsh punchline.

This line revolves around a particularly embarrassing incident that came to light during the defamation trial she had against her former husband, Johnny Depp.

Since the trial, where a jury in Virginia, US, sided unanimously with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor, many details have faded.

However, one specific detail seems to have lodged itself in many people's minds, including Eminem’s, as he brings it up again in "Lucifer."

While finishing up his second verse, he raps:

"My s**t is like taking Deborah Mathers at her word

"Yeah, I'm that absurd, we had a spat, then afterwards

"We squashed the beef like a hamburger patty, or should I say gigantic turd?

"'Cause I put that s**t to bed like Amber Heard at a Mattress Firm."

So, Eminem didn’t just take another jab at his mother's poor parenting skills, but he also made a comment about Heard’s alleged bathroom habits—or the apparent lack thereof.

For those needing a reminder of what surfaced during the Depp v Heard trial, an unpleasant detail emerged while Starling Jenkins III, a long-serving executive chauffeur and security guard who first met Depp in 1993, was testifying.

He shared with the court that during a ride to Coachella, Heard confessed to him about a "horrible practical joke gone wrong."

This conversation was about an unexpected item she left in the bed she shared with Depp after they had an argument during her 30th birthday party, just before she left for the festival.

The item was, as you might have guessed, feces. Depp, speaking during the trial, recalled his plans to go to their house to pick up some items while Heard was away.

Jenkins advised against it, saying it wasn't a good time.

Depp narrated, "And I thought, 'It's the perfect time. She's not going to be home for two days.' Then he showed me a photograph on his telephone of...it was a photograph of our bed, and on my side of the bed, was human fecal matter."

Depp said his ex-wife tried to blame the 'fecal matter' on the bed on their dogs JIM LO SCALZO/POOL/AFP via Getty Images

Heard tried to attribute the mess to their dogs, according to Depp.

He continued: "They're teacup Yorkies. They weigh about 4 pounds each. The photograph that I saw - I lived with those dogs for many years. It was not the dogs."

In her defense, Heard mentioned during the trial that Depp's dog, Boo, had 'bowel control issues'.

When pressed if she had played 'any prank' regarding the fecal matter, she firmly stated: "Absolutely not."

Although this controversy had quieted down, Eminem seems to believe it's something we shouldn't let slip from our memory so quickly.

And just a heads-up, if you're now tempted to go listen to "Lucifer" or the entire album "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)," keep in mind that Eminem has cautioned about the sequence in which you play the tracks.

Since it's a 'conceptual album', Eminem has advised his fans that it 'might not make sense' if not listened to in the correct order.
