Eminem has not been shy about his apparent disdain for Diddy in his music
Eminem has been known for taking shots at countless celebrities since he started in the rap world, and one of his most frequent targets has been Diddy.
For over two decades, the rapper has thrown shade at the music mogul, never holding back his jabs.
Whether through biting lyrics or more lighthearted digs, Eminem has built a reputation for being bold and unapologetic in calling out famous figures.
And Diddy, real name Sean Combs, has been on the receiving end of these jabs repeatedly.
Now, as Diddy faces serious allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering—claims he has denied—many have joined in criticizing him.
But Eminem has been ahead of the curve, throwing shade at Diddy long before these charges came to light.
(1996)- F****** crazy
"Original Bad Boy on the case, cover your face. Came in the place blowed, and sprayed Puffy with Mase."
This early line was more of a cheeky dig at Diddy and fellow rapper Mase, setting the tone for what would become a long-running feud between Eminem and Diddy.
(2000)- Marshall Mathers
"You little groupie b****, get off me, go f**k Puffy."
By 2000, Eminem had already established himself as a fearless young artist willing to go after major figures in the industry, including Diddy.
(2000) - Iām Back
"Cause if I ever stuck it to any singer in showbiz. It'd be Jennifer Lopez and Puffy, you know this. I'm sorry, Puff, but I don't give a f**k."
This was a clear reference to the fact that Jennifer Lopez and Diddy dated between 1999 and 2001.
Eminem took this opportunity to make a crude comment about his own interest in the famous singer.
At this stage, his lyrics were more playful, even if they were inappropriate.
But as the years went on, his shots at Diddy seemed to become more serious.
(2018) - Killshot
"Kells, the day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed."
Even though Eminem ended the track with, "I'm just playing, Diddy, you know I love you," this didn't change the fact that the line referenced the infamous rivalry between Diddy, Notorious B.I.G., and West Coast rappers like Tupac.
(2020) - Godzilla
"They call me Diddy because I make bands, and I call getting cheese a cakewalk."
This line refers to Diddy's reality show, "Making the Band," where he made contestants walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to fetch him a slice of cheesecake.
Viewers criticized the moment, finding it more humiliating than a true test of dedication.
Eminem’s more recent work has continued to take aim at Diddy, seemingly in light of the legal troubles he’s currently facing.
(2024)- Fuel
"Notorious B.I.G.'s death was the domino effect of 2Pac's murder, like facial tissue, whose clock should I clean next? Puff's?"
"Til he's in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?"
In this track, Eminem throws yet more shade at Diddy, this time hinting at Diddy’s legal troubles. His lyrics seemed to predict the storm Diddy is currently facing.
"A R-A-P-E-R. Got so many S-As, S-As. Wait, he didnt just spell RAPPER and leave out a P, did he?…"
This line feels less like a casual reference and more like Eminem calling out Diddy's long-standing issues that have now become public knowledge.
(2024) - Antichrist
"Next idiot ask me is getting his ass beat worse than Diddy did — But on the real, though, she probably ran out the room with his f**king dildo."
This lyric references the infamous Cassie and Diddy video, as well as the troubling sexual assault allegations against the Bad Boy Records producer.
