It is usually a common practice around the majority of workplaces that people who have kids think they have important family commitments unlike people without kids and so they get a free pass in case of overtime at work.

While people who have kids might have additional responsibility, however, to think that people without kids have no responsibility or no right to their personal time is one messed up way of thinking.

This woman recently took to the Reddit platform to share an encounter with her co-worker where she was expected to take the evening shift thrice in the row because she has no kids while her co-worker has a son.

OP shared that she usually cooperates in situations where her co-workers clock out early as they have to pick their kids from school or other things. However, for people to think that she has nothing important to do with her time after work as she has no kids has made her retaliate at the workplace. And of course, her colleagues are not happy with her,
