Erika Kirk has pushed back hard against claims about her private life, denying rumors that she is dating casino heir Blake Wynn eight months after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.

The speculation was driven by online conspiracy theorist Collin Scott Campbell, who claimed Kirk, 37, had been seen with 26-year-old Wynn at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Campbell alleged the pair were getting 'very intimate' and were 'kissing and embracing' there over the weekend.

Campbell also claimed the two had been shopping earlier that same day. The claim spread fast enough that both Kirk and Wynn responded publicly, with People also reporting on the denial after the rumor moved across social media.

Kirk, who shares two children with the late political activist, did not leave much room for doubt in her response. She issued a statement rejecting the allegations and making clear that she believed the claims were false.

"Every single word here is a lie," she wrote on X.

"Charlie's love will last me a lifetime. The Lord is the only one who can ever fill that most painful void."

The Turning Point USA CEO then gave a specific reason the story could not be true, pointing to where she said she actually was on the date in question: "On May 14th I was home in Arizona celebrating my son's second birthday."

"Blake (who is about to be engaged to his longtime gf) was a dear friend of my husband's and I am grateful for his continued support, just like hundreds of others."

Kirk also said Campbell's 'deranged obsession' with her is 'deeply disturbing'. Her statement framed the rumor not only as a false dating claim, but as another example of online attention being aimed at a grieving widow and mother.

Why the rumor drew a wider reaction

The reaction was not only about whether Kirk was dating someone. Wynn said he was about to be engaged to his longtime girlfriend, and Kirk said he had been a dear friend of her late husband, which made the rumor more personal for everyone involved.

The timing also made the claim more sensitive. Kirk has remained a public figure since Charlie Kirk's death, while Turning Point USA and people close to the family have continued to face attention online. Stories involving false claims about Charlie Kirk have already led to major legal fallout, including a separate case where a man won an $835,000 settlement after spending 37 days in jail over Charlie Kirk memes.

That context helps explain why Wynn's response focused so heavily on how quickly claims can spread. A rumor that starts as one post can become a public story before the people named in it have even had time to answer.

"I am praying you get the help you so clearly need," she said.

Kirk ended the statement with a sharper line aimed at Campbell: "Brush off the Dorito dust and go touch grass."

Wynn also denied the claims on X, writing: "Blake Wynn here… I hate to be the bearer of bad news to the cesspool of bots and X users that spend their entire day making things up under the guise of journalism, but I am not dating Erika Kirk."

Wynn later addressed the situation again on his Instagram Story, where he said: "What a way to wake up... WTF is wrong with people. This is an example though of a much larger problem we need to address as a country."

"If blatant lies can spread within minutes to huge amounts of people, how is anyone supposed to differentiate the truth from a lie."

His response turned the focus away from the dating claim itself and toward the way social media can reward speed over accuracy. In this case, both people named in the rumor said the same thing clearly: they are not dating.

Who is Blake Wynn?

Blake Wynn is the nephew of casino mogul Steve Wynn. The 26-year-old entrepreneur founded the Celebrity Poker Tour, putting him in a public-facing world that often overlaps with influencers, entertainers, and other well-known names.

Wynn also had a personal connection to Charlie Kirk before the rumor began. After Kirk was fatally shot in September 2025, Wynn posted a tribute and described the 31-year-old as his 'brother'.

He wrote: "I don't have any words, there are none. There has never been someone in my life I've been so proud to call a friend as you, and I really looked at you like a big brother - you constantly pushed me to be better, provided words of encouragement when I needed them most, and altered my perspective for the better. "The countless memories we've shared together will remain among my fondest. I am devastated beyond what I can articulate that we won't get to continue making more for the rest of our lives."

Kirk's denial came shortly after reports that a man had been arrested over alleged threats to kill her before a Turning Point USA event in San Antonio on June 5. The timing added another serious layer to a week already filled with online attention around her name.

Jacob Wenske, 26, faces two felony counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear, according to court documents. The San Antonio Express-News reported that the case involved alleged threats connected to the Turning Point USA Women's Leadership Summit scheduled for June 5-7.

Another alleged threat tied to Wenske surfaced in a January 2026 email, in which he wrote: "Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!!"

He continued: "America will live on without those scum on this earth."

Investigators further allege that Wenske directly communicated with Turning Point USA and made explicit death threats against Kirk. Turning Point USA also thanked law enforcement after the arrest, while reports said security was being increased around the San Antonio event.

The mom-of-two was also at the White House correspondents' dinner in April, when a gunman opened fire in what was described as the third assassination attempt on President Trump.

Taken together, the denial, Wynn's response, and the separate threat case show how much public pressure has surrounded Kirk since her husband's death. The dating rumor may have been the latest claim she answered, but it landed against a wider backdrop of grief, politics, security concerns, and fast-moving online speculation.
