#1 You Down With JTT? Yeah, You Know Me

That smile. Those blue eyes. That hair, no matter the style. These are the trademark teen idol features of none other than Jonathan Taylor Thomas, 1990s heartthrob. You certainly remember his work as a child actor. But then your memory may become hazy. As he grew into a teenager, and then an adult, did he just drop off the face of the earth? Well I've got some news for you: He did not. Matter of fact, some recent pictures of him have emerged, and you may like what you see.

#2 House Upgrade

In perhaps his most famous role, JTT began playing Randy Taylor on the sitcom Home Improvement from 1991-1999. Through the series run, Thomas dealt with the universal issues of growing up in a suburban household, like crushes, fights with his brothers and a loudmouth dad (played by Tim Allen) who's obsessed with weird grunts. Actually, that last one might be specific to Randy.

#3 At The Movies

Thomas also performed in several movies, including the live-action works Man Of The House and I'll Be Home For Christmas. Famously, JTT also just couldn't wait to be king when he voiced Simba in Disney's classic The Lion King.

#4 Present Day, Please!

But enough about Thomas' past accomplishments. It's time to answer the questions that have been on your mind this whole time: Where is he now? And what does he look like?

You must be wondering what would he be doing now? Well..well..well the wait is over!

#6 Nice Specs

Here he is. 34-year-old Jonathan Taylor Thomas in all his adult glory. He looks less like a child star who grew up without anyone ever telling him no and more like a well-adjusted man who sometimes plays bass in a Guster cover band, no?

#7 Adult Education

That's because in 1998, Thomas took a sabbatical from show business, deciding instead to focus on his education. He attended Harvard, St. Andrew's University and Columbia. "To sit in a big library amongst books and students, that was pretty cool," said Thomas to People. "It was a novel experience for me."

#8 Reunited And It Feels So Good

Thomas hasn't entirely given up on show business just yet. In 2011, he posed for a reunion photo with the Home Improvement cast, telling Entertainment Weekly, "It was really remarkable how easily everyone slipped back into our old banter and behavior with each other. It was though as nothing had changed, and we had literally stepped back onto the set."

#9 But The Passion Is Still There

Pictured here with his former Home Improvement co-star Zachery Ty Bryan, Thomas may have more show biz work in the pipeline yet. "I think at this point, I'd eventually like to work behind the camera," he told Entertainment Weekly. "That's not to say I would never act again, I'm not quite sure to be honest. I still have a passion for TV and film could see myself working in it."

I, for one, would love to see a JTT-directed film, with one caveat: It has to have those funky Home Improvement transitions where, like, a wrecking ball flies in and smashes the screen into the next scene. Think you can make that happen, Thomas? I believe in you!
