As children, our parents and teachers brought us many puzzle games and riddles which we certainly enjoyed trying to solve. These games helped us learn brainstorming and logical analysis. As kids, we tried to solve many riddles by applying ideas and clues; since we are grown now we rarely have time to indulge in our activities from our childhood.
You might be landed here to bring back those childhood memories by trying to solve a few riddles, just forget the present and wake up the kid inside you who applies all the possible ways to solve the riddles.
So here we go, your time starts NOW!
If you like riddles, we've got a few good ones for you.
Put your thinking cap on and get ready.
1: 10 fish are in a tank.
Two fish drown, three die, and four swim away. How many are left?
Think for a second.
Don't rush this one; you only get one shot.
All 10 fish are left.
The ones that die are still in the tank; fish can't really drown, and they certainly can't "swim away," so no fish have left the tank. Ready for another one?
2. Try this one.
A rooster is sitting on the direct center of a barn roof when it lays an egg. Which way does the egg roll?
It doesn't roll either way.
Roosters can't lay eggs.
3. How much dirt is in a hole that's five feet long and three feet wide?
Think carefully.
Right -- there's no dirt.
It's a hole.
4. What gradually gets wetter the more it dries?
This is a classic.
A towel.
Alright, now take these trick questions and go impress (or annoy) someone.
