A YouTuber's bold journey into a 'creepy' well had everyone reacting in the same way.

There's trying out a new dish, visiting a country you've never been to, or relocating to a new place.

But putting your life on the line to explore 'creepy' spots? No thanks, I'll pass.

However, one adventurous YouTuber discovered an old well and thought it would be a great idea to descend 20 feet below ground to explore it.

The content creator, Beau Ouimette, who is known as Aquachigger on YouTube, posted a video in February 2017 showing his venture down the well.

Beau explained that he was at 'a really old house site' and the owner of the property had told him that this well was 'no ordinary well,' but rather 'an old hand-dug well' that likely dates back to 1700.

In the video, Beau estimated the well's depth to be 'about 15 or 20 feet' and, being currently dry, he could safely descend and explore.

"Rather him than me," I'd say—and it seems there were 'a lot of loose rocks' he had to deal with too. *Gulps*

In the footage, Beau gave his followers a view down into the depths of the well, showing a ladder that extended down. However, past about the tenth rung, everything below was shrouded in darkness.

Then, he began his descent, equipped with a torch and a hard hat, noticing the well was supported by 'some sort of timbers,' which he found to be 'odd.'

Unfortunately for Beau, the unstable and 'slippery' ladder was just the start of his troubles.

In the video, you can hear Beau saying, "I hope there's no snakes down here. I guess they could get out."

But he soon realized he had spoken too soon. Just a few rungs down, he spotted some snakes, including a serpent.

"I'm probably surrounded by snakes," he noted. "They're going to be dropping down on my head."

Nevertheless, he continued his descent, and of course, there were more snakes to come—the serpent now moving in the background, followed by 'a little tiny one,' and a third one 'coming out to visit' the explorer.

"They're everywhere," he concluded.

And the people who watched the video all echoed a similar sentiment in the comments section.

One YouTube viewer commented: "Would have noped out of there when I saw the first snake let alone all of them."

"As soon as I saw those snakes, I would have been back up that ladder as fast as lightning," another said.

A third remarked: "You stayed down there longer than I would have."

"You're one brave man," another viewer praised.

And a final viewer said: "The most real game of SNAKES AND LADDERS I've ever seen, nice to see you hold it together Beau and not panic."
