A father and his daughter have realized their shared dream by co-piloting a flight.

As per a report from BBC News, Brian, and Becky Morgan, residents of Colchester and colleagues at Jet2.com, accomplished the remarkable feat of jointly operating a commercial flight from London Stansted Airport to Tenerife.

In their own words, this experience holds an everlasting place in their hearts.

Following the path paved by her father, Becky successfully navigated the airline's pilot apprentice program.

Becky has taken more than 170 flights to locations around Europe since completing her training.

Meanwhile, her father, Mr. Morgan, entered the realm of piloting in 2016 and subsequently ascended to the rank of captain following the successful completion of his command upgrade.

He expressed that his daughter drew inspiration from his journey and, observing his progression to a pilot, she took flight to conquer the skies, turning her dream into a reality.

“It was fantastic to operate a flight with my daughter, Becky,” Mr Morgan said of the experience to EssexLive.

“We finally had the opportunity to fly together on a full flight from London Stansted to Tenerife which was not only a great day out for customers but also a momentous day for us."

He added: “I’ve always encouraged Becky to follow her passion when it comes to her career.”

“Naturally, when I began my flight training Becky also took an interest, so when she announced she wanted to pursue a career in aviation as a pilot, I was over the moon.”

The pair are looking forward to flying together again soon.

Likewise, last year, a brother and sister from SouthWest Airlines flew six flights together and even spotted a shooting star.

Greg and Jennifer Easton had always dreamed of being pilots since they were kids.

Their father worked as an electrical engineer at Boeing, and he spent more than four decades tinkering with airplanes, according to Simple Flying.

"As kids, my parents would drive to Vista Del Mar so we could see the airplanes from LAX take off and land while sitting in our station wagon. Our dad's last airplane was the C-17 which we also got to see some of the proving runs,” Jennifer said.

She mentioned that flying alongside her brother was, at last, the realization of a cherished dream.

"I always hoped we could retire from the same airline, and it seems that this might eventually come true too,” she continued.
