Fireman Delivers Pregnant Woman’s Baby, Then Adopts Her

Doctors who handle pregnancies have one of the greatest jobs in the world. They get to bring not one but numerous new lives into the world. If you look past all the pain, giving birth can be very beautiful and humbling.
That's why when fireman Marc Hadden was thrown into a situation where he had to deliver a baby, he was ecstatic. But of course, it was never something he anticipated. Even as a fireman, you're expected to see and do many strange things but this isn't one of them. And what happened to him after the baby's birth was even more surprising.

Hadden was having a normal night on the job in November when he and his crew suddenly got an emergency call. Rushing out of the station, the crew had expected it to be a "normal" emergency call, but it was just the opposite.

The emergency was actually a woman in labor who wasn't able to make it to the hospital in time. With no one else present but the firemen crew, Hadden stepped up to do the job.

The delivery was a success! She was named Grace and she was healthy and beautiful. Unfortunately, she was immediately put up for adoption afterwards.

Hadden called his wife Beth immediately after the delivery. He was overwhelmed with excitement as he should be. In Beth's words, "Who gets to deliver a baby in their lifetime that’s not a doctor?”

Now it just so happens that Hadden and his wife have been looking to expand their family. They already had two sons and were considering adoption. Instead of acting on it, however, they decided to wait and leave it 'in God's hands.'

Was it purely a coincidence or a blessing in disguise? Who knows, but the Haddens knew immediately that they wanted to adopt Grace and bring her into their loving family.

It wasn't long until Grace was officially a part of their new family, 48 hours later to be exact. As you can see from the photo below, Grace's brothers quickly took a liking to her and began loving her very much too.

"We are truly blessed," confesses Hadden. It's not every day you get to rescue and deliver a baby who later becomes the newest family addition that you've been patiently waiting for.
