Social media users have described the footage as 'claustrophobic'
Footage Capturing Rare Glimpse Inside Egypt Pyramids Has People Feeling Uncomfortable
If you're someone who loves to travel and is eager to check out some of the world’s most famous landmarks, you might have considered a trip to see the pyramids in Egypt.
Every year, these ancient structures draw millions of tourists, offering a fascinating journey back through time.
Recognized as a UNESCO Heritage Site and listed among the Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are undoubtedly stunning from the outside.
However, not many are familiar with their interiors.

Originally sealed to prevent entry, videos exploring the inside of the pyramids often become internet sensations.
Recently, a video that provides a peek inside this well-known tourist spot has made some social media users feel uneasy.
Shared on TikTok by @youneszarou, the footage shows the content creator navigating the pyramid's interior.
This video might not be suitable for those with claustrophobia.
At first glance, it seems like there’s no way inside the pyramid.

Yet, the video reveals it's filled with a network of tunnels, chambers, and side passages.
These passages often lead to additional rooms, creating a true maze-like experience.
In the video, the man is seen squeezing through incredibly narrow passageways.
Many viewers are expressing their amazement at how tight these spaces really are.
One user commented: "My claustrophobia could never."
Another shared: "I can't breathe watching this."
A third user remarked: "Claustrophobia left the chat."
And yet another added: "I'm panicking just watching."
Clearly, when the pyramids were constructed, considerations like health and safety were non-existent.
Add some modern lighting to these ancient monuments, and their appeal only increases.
Despite being millennia old, scientists continue to discover new aspects of the pyramids.

Just last year, researchers found a nine-meter hidden passageway inside the Egyptian Pyramid of Khufu.
In March 2023, this exciting find was announced by the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, offering new insights to those studying these structures.
The project, known as Scan Pyramid, explores the interior of pyramids using advanced technology like scanners and infrared thermography.
The purpose of this newly discovered passageway is not yet clear, but it has provided some intriguing hints.
Mostafa Waziri, the Head of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that the ceiling of the tunnel suggests it was designed to distribute the weight of the pyramid.
He stated: "But a big question mark hangs over whether this corridor was created to relieve the weight on the [main] entrance or lighten the load on a space yet to be discovered."
He concluded: "Scanning work will continue to uncover more secrets."
