Officers in New Milford, Pennsylvania had to arrest some of the most unexpected delinquents looking for trouble.
Four Ducks Sneak Out, End Up Getting Arrested For Loitering
The four ducks belong to Cindy Osiecki, who lives in Great Bend, Pennsylvania.
When everyone was distracted by Fourth of July activities, the ducks left their yard and set off an adventure around their hometown.
Patrons of the gas station fed them crumbs and leftover food.
Apparently, this didn’t sit too well with someone who then called the cops on them for loitering. While they weren’t being bad, they did at first resist arrest
The officers arrived, and they quacked up when they saw who they were arresting.
When an officer reached the spot, the four of them were taken into custody, booked and even had their foot-prints taken.
The police managed to detain the delinquents and track their owner Cindy Osiecki
Thankfully the officers were able to track down Cindy Osiecki, who came to pick up her four quacking delinquents.
"It’s not like they wander far from home, that was the first time that I ever saw they went up to the Pump and Pantry because normally they go to my neighbors," she told local news station WNEP 16.
They posted a photo of the delinquent animals to Facebook, and the hilarious post was shared hundreds of times.
"Ducks in custody? Officer Sheehan took four ducks in custody after they were loitering at the Pump and Pantry in New Milford. We were able to find the owner to pick them up," wrote the police department.
People on social media were amused with the important arrest in the area.
The ducks are now back at home, happily swimming and quacking in their backyard creek.
It seems like these ducks’ criminal days are behind them!
