A mystery bomber attacked and destroyed the Georgia Guidestones in a bomb attack. The tablets had been dubbed ‘Satanic’ tablets. It is presumed the attack was that of a religious nature.
America’s Stonehenge known as the ‘Georgia Guidestones was attacked and destroyed by a mystery bomber.
The granite panels were dubbed ‘satanic’ by conservative Christians and were a point of contention.
The Bureau of Investigation said that the monument was destroyed at 4.30 am in the night by an ‘unknown individual'.
In what is a presumed to be religiously motivated attack, the roadside attraction lost one of its panels with debris collected at the bottom as a result of the explosion.
The now-destroyed attraction was built in 1980 and was commissioned by an unknown person under the pseudonym R.C. Christian.
The 19-foot-tall slabs carried messages in eight different languages all containing a 10-part message. The languages included Babylonian, Sanskrit, Hindi, Old Egyptian and Ancient Greek. The message contained guidance as to how one can live in an ‘age of reason’.
One part of the stone recommended the global population to be 500m or below and also included a ‘guide to reproduce wisely.’
The pillar also functioned as an astronomical calendar as well as a sundial.
Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist who has been banned by YouTube for misinformation and fake news praised the attack and said that the destruction as not enough.

It is presumed that dynamite was used in the bombing as officials investigate the scene of the crime. A vehicle was also seen fleeing the scene after the bombing.
